Bernhard's Bay School House,
Town of Constantia

My grandparents are buried in Constantia Center Cemetery Lot 46 behind the Independence Baptist Chruch. They are in unmarked graves. I remember their burials, and have the deed to Lot 46.  They lived across the street on Panther Lake Road. Looking at the front of the church from the street it is to the right.  They were:

William Edward Loke January 1874 - 12 May 1950 and
Anna Charlotte (Farquharson) Loke December 1878 - 1951.

In the 1917 farm directory page 103 their names were misspelled as Lake instead of Loke.
I am attaching a copy of a school picture taken 1950 (possibly 1951) at the Bernhard's Bay school house -- a two room school with three grades in each room. A school bus route ran from Constantia Center to the school.
